A setter, often called an appointment setter, qualifies prospects and books meetings for the closer. These are the open roles in the DACH region.
Alle Sales Jobs

You are the first step in the sales process. You review inbound requests, ask qualifying questions and book appointments for the closer. You decide whether a prospect is a fit at all, and save the closer the calls that were never going to close.
Two models are common: a fee per qualified appointment, or a share of the deal you set up. Everything hinges on the word "qualified". Agree in writing which criteria an appointment has to meet and what happens on a no-show. That is the most frequent dispute in setter roles.
You run many short calls instead of a few long ones, so you learn quickly what works: which question opens a conversation and which sentence ends it. Nobody needs a certificate for that. Setting is the foundation for every other sales role.
An appointment is only good if the closer can work with it. That takes more than a calendar entry: who the prospect is, the problem they described, the budget in play and why they are looking now. Those notes are your actual output. Setters whose handovers are complete get the better engagements, because closers recommend them to the client.
